TouchPro chair-massage is a pressure-point massage with a set treatment scheme. The client fully dressed sits in a specially designed chair for a 15 minute planned massage. Improved circulation of the treated areas (back, neck, shoulders and arms) is achieved so that nutrients are delivered more effectively to the muscles and brain. This ensures that they remain in a better condition. At the same time, this also helps the body to get rid of waste products such as lactic acid.

The massages are not a magic formula; good posture, ergonomically correct furniture and especially exercise are all important. Thus the masseur has an important part and play as he literally lays his finger on the sore point and involves your staff with what he discovers.

In consultation with you, the masseur can either limit himself to the giving of information or we can conduct an extensive work-place investigation and RSI/CANS training.

Research into the effects of chair massage revealed that, during the test period, the participants had more oxygen-rich blood and that less waste-products were found in the muscles. The participants experienced an increase in concentration and well-being and felt more alert.

If there is an interval between massages of maximal 2 weeks, it was observed that the body is capable of building up a ‘memory’ enabling both a faster relaxation of tension and retardation of new tension.

Our experience is that staff who regularly receive massage become more alert to the signals that their body gives. They pay more attention to their work posture and take more responsibility for their own health. Apart from all these serious considerations, a chair-massage is of course very pleasant!
